Deirdre Lorincz founded Hydrangea Home Interiors with a simple goal in mind to transform peoples lives by creating beautiful, comfortable, and timeless spaces. Deirdre feels that a beautifully decorated home can have a beneficial influence on our lives.

With an emphasis on collaboration and over 15 year of experience in interior design, Deirdre is able to bring her clients vision to life. To Deirdre, the essence of Interior Design is about people and how they live their lives. A combination of thoughtful design, communication and trust has built her a long lasting professional relationship with clients and vendors.

What Inspires and drives me?

​

My Husband and two wonderful children are everything to me. When I am not drawing floorpans and picking out fabrics, I am busy enjoying all that the east end of Long Island has to offer. Whether that's walking at the ocean with my husband or looking for treasures and fish at the bay with my kids. Life is wonderful and full of beauty! One of my favorite thing are the beautiful blooming Hydrangeas that we see in the summer. If there was a signature flower of the Hamptons it would be the Hydrangea? From the hydrangea hedge that line the front of my parents home, to the bouquet I held at my wedding and the beautiful flower arrangement I had at my baby shower.

 Hydrangeas are beautiful, timeless, sophisticated and comfortable. they have so much variation in color and bloom all of which inspire me and bring me joy!  That is why I chose this name for my company!
